Peter A. Smith
I am Peter, a multi-discipline and multi-practice artist, originating from Dumfries in south west Scotland.
My work can be split into two main bodies:
Wood sculputre and craft
Interactive public art
My wood based art follows principles of taking flawed pieces of wood and creating works that question how we relate to the natural world, our relationship and asigned mental value.
Just like no one piece of wood is similar, every item is unique in it’s form and creation.
